Spread your condiments of choice onto a popiah skin. We recommend a bit of each, but any combination works.
Add some greens. Our bundles include fresh lettuce, bean sprouts and snow peas.
Chuck in just a little bit of Chinese sausage or lap cheong. These pack rich flavor so a little goes a long way.
Follow up with some shredded omelette to balance out the flavours.
Next up, the star of the show! Spoon up some home-made popiah filling, giving it a little squeeze to remove any excess liquid.
Now for some toppings! Sprinkle on some ground peanut, sole fish (just a little!) and crispy batter bits to add lots of texture.
Begin the rolling process by folding in two sides.
Fold the bottom up towards the middle, keeping the sides tucked in.
Slowly tuck the ingredients inward as you roll it forward.
